The first personality test I took was called the Myers-Briggs Test Indicator. This test asked four questions where you had to pick 1 out of 2 answers. After choosing four answers, it gives the first four letters of your answers as your personality type letters. Using those letters, you go onto the kiersey site where it tells what it thinks you are and what jobs it thinks would be best for you. The jobs picked are based on your personality type. And the other test I took was call the Keirsey Temperament sorter, this test has 71 questions. After answering the questions, it tells what type of temperament it thinks you are. It usually matches up to the first test.
Personally, I think these tests are not very accurate. The personality types they give you may have some of your characteristics but not all of them. To me, everyone has their own personality and are different in many ways. Those personality tests are probably only useful and true to a handful of people.
According to the first test, it said I was like the architect in the Rational category. It said that architects are master designers of all kinds of theoretical systems Some characteristics given are that architects tend to see distinctions and inconsistencies instantaneously. They believe the universe is something they need to figure out and understand. They are ruthless pragmatists about ideas, and insatiably curious. It also says that they often seem difficult to know because they are usually shy except with close friends; their preserve is difficult to penetrate.
The second test said I was a Healer in the Idealist category. It said that healers present a calm and serene face to the world, who can seem shy or even distant from others. However, inside they are anything but calm and serene More characteristics of healers are that they lived a fantasy-filled childhood where they were the prince or princess of fairy tales. They are impatient with routine details. Also, they follow their heart, not their head, which means they can make errors of fact.
Both tests were similar when it came to being shy and working alone, But for architects it said that it is difficult for them to listen to nonsense, while the healer is keenly aware of other people and their feelings.
From my opinion, I think I am a little of both personalities. I am like the architect because I can see distinctions and inconsistencies instantaneously. I am insatiably curious and probably seem difficult to know. Then I am like the healer because I present a calm and serene face to the world, and seem shy and distant to the world. But at times, I feel anything but calm and serene.I care about the inner life of a few special people. I often feel a sense of separation because of misunderstood childhood. In truth, I am quite okay with who I am, just the way I am. Also, I am keenly aware of other people and their feelings.

I'm a healer too.
I'm glad you were critical of your results, Kateri. They're not the be all and end all, but it is a bit fun to read about yourself, right?
